Question : I'm pretty sure a hernia has develop on the right side of groin had one before 20 hrs ago but this one is different I feel, my ankles & caves are swollen hard skin has turned fire red and for the last week sometimes when I try to eat I get sever acid reflex & heartburn , I feel this is all related but why ?

Hi and welcome. This may be subacutely incarcerated hernia where small or large bowel are compressed in hernia sac. All this can lead to your symptoms so you should see surgeon. This should be as soon as possible.
Ankle swelling may be caused by some other issues such as vein trombosis, erisipelas or heart weakness and kidney failure. They may not be related most time but it needs evaluation finally.
