Repeat Endoscopy
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the details.
I have gone through the details provided by you and would advise you to follow the instructions mentioned below:
1. Repeat Endoscopy, as the last was 2 yrs back. It is rule out any Ulcers and also for gastric biopsy to rule out H.Pylori infection.
I believe that as you have seen many doctors, they would have investigated and treated you for H.Pylori infection. As you have not mentioned any investigations for H.Pylori infection. Rapid Urease test along with gastric biopsy is a confirmatory test for H.Pylori. If shows presence of H.pylori then eradication therapy needs to be started. If done, please attach the reports.
2. Have meals at regular intervals. Avoid spicy and oily foods.
3. Drink plenty of water. I understand that you are already consuming 3 ltrs/day. I would suggest you to have a water bottle on your working desk and keep sipping water on and off. I would also advise you to have a glass of water one hour before and after having your meal. This will make sure adequate intake of water.
4. Maintain a gap of atleast 2hrs in between dinner and going to bed. And would be better to go for a walk after having dinner.
5. Have as minimum of dinner as possible. This would be just to satisfy your hunger. In case requires more, consider having more of vegetable salad before the main course of the dinner.
6. Avoid excess consumption of tea or coffee. Two cups of tea/coffee in a day would be fine. Also avoid taking tea/coffee/hot milk in the night before going to bed.
Hope this answers your query. If any further clarifications, will be happy to help you.
Regards.
