Question : My 41 yr old son as had the hiccups for 6 days. We got Valium from the family Dr which is helping somewhat, but he has to keep breaking the valium in half and taking every couple hours.. 5mg
Do you have any other sugestions for Hiccups?

I have gone through your query. Baclofen is effective in treating hiccups. Even though other drugs like chlorpromazine, metaclopramide and haloperidol are used Baclofen is the best choice for long lasting hiccups. But it should be avoided if kidney function is not good.
