Question: You should know my history doctor.if not I will write down all my symptoms..for the last 2 weeks I have had two ocular migraines..now I am really starting to be concerned..why all these eye problems? I have been taking my blood pressure..it seems to be good..except when I had the migraine it went up due to my anxiety! As you recall I had the mild vascular changes in the back of my eye..they did cardiac crp test and the reading was high..is there major inflammation going on in my body? Please help me understand..I am doing mediation .thanks again for your words of wisdom! I appreciate you sooo much!

Brief Answer:
Continue with lifestyle management.

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Thanks for sending your query to me.
There are times when such activity is common in the body and once we tide over this period things will be better. I see patients in my practice who do not have excessive strain leading to such attacks and people at times do wake up with attacks of migraine. Still that's no reason not to avoid excessive strain for the time being.Weather also plays a role and excessive heat and cold again is a strain on the body.I have seen people having 10 years without migraine and then restarting. Probably there are many aspects of working of body which we still do not understand fully, more we understand, more we realize little we know.
I have seen attacks of migraine to be rather less painful as the age advances, younger aged patients at times having incapacitating pain.
Yoga and meditation will definitely help you in the long run and this ultimately becomes a way if life and keeps you fit and healthy.
Continue with proper diet and exercise. You are doing well.Do get back to me in case of any further query in this regard.

So do you think the ocular migraines are related to the mild vascular changes in the back of my eye. I have been sick with the flu but have recovered. I had one ocular migraine during the flu and the other one today. I have started exercising again...do you think it was too soon to start back..I feel so much better when I exercise! The ocular migraine gives me a zigzag light in my eye for about 20 minutes and then they go away.thanks again Doctor! Are these dangerous?

Brief Answer:
Lifestyle management to continue.

Detailed Answer:
My dear,
Good of you to get back to me.
There is nothing dangerous about it.Vascular changes in the retina are not related to your migraine,in spite of both being vascular phenomenon.
These attacks may be related to your general debility.Light exercises are welcome, and do exercises within limits, what you can easily tolerate.Eat well, exercise lightly and allow your body to recover out of this post fever situation.
You are fine and I do not see any reason to change our ways.
Do get back to me in case of any further query.
