Brief Answer:
Explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome
I appreciate your concern
The medication you are currently using eg lorazepam are first line drugs for anxiety disorder. Gabapentin or pregabalin which are basically anticonvulsant meds can also be used. In severe recurrent bouts of panic attacks , SSRIs like paroxetine and antipsychotics like risperidone may also be used on a trial basis. It's not a fixed algorithm and should be used according to the response. Each medication should be given a time of at least 2 weeks and should not be stopped abruptly.
