Buprenorphine transdermal patch, Physiotherapy

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

Have you been diagnosed with Rheumatoid or Osteoarthritis?

Is there any swelling of the involved joints which are more warm to touch?

Do you have fever?

In the setting of chronic kidney disease, it is best you use medication that does not get depend on the kidney die metabolism.

You can try Buprenorphine transdermal patch 10 micrograms for pain relief. This is not to be taken if you are on any medication which can interfere with it's metabolism. Apply the patch in the outer aspect of arm by pressing it for 30 seconds after throughout cleaning the arm of any cream, lotion etc. This patch should remain for 7 days and then can be changed to another patch, 24 hours after removing it.

Avoid lifting weights, perform hot fomentation, Physiotherapy is important to strengthen the muscles around the joints.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
