Cause of Gross Hematuria has to be traced out by more investigations.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have pain in loin and gross hematuria since few weeks and abdominal CT scan has revealed small non obstructing stones in both the kidneys .
Though severe pain associated with hematuria can be attributed to stone disease however looking at the small size and non obstructing nature of the stones the other cause for gross hematuria has be ruled out by further investigations
Please consult qualified Urologist and Nephrologist for clinical examination and get following basic tests done to confirm the diagnosis.
1) Urine routine and culture.
2) Ultrasound scanning of abdomen and pelvis
3) Intra Venous Pyelography (I.V.P.)
4) Renal angiography (If required)
5) Renal Biopsy(If required)
Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
