Question : I am having severe back pain and at the same time my feet are swelling. My doctor is giving me pain pills for my back and lasix for my swollen feet. I am also seeing a chiropractor but I am not getting any relief.

If you were my patient, I would ask for further examinations such a lumbosacral spine MRI, abdominal ultrasound, kidneys and thyroid function tests in order to achieve a correct diagnosis.

Only after a precise diagnosis treatment possibilities are clear.

Spinal stenosis, kidneys or thyroid gland dysfunction may cause such symptoms.

Discuss with your Doctor about getting evaluated further.
