Question : My mom have itching for more then 2 years. At first itching start from foot's fingers,then its come to hand,face,head.My mom taking tablet Cetirizine (okacet) when she have itching. Its work for 3 days.but after that, it start again.After taking tablet she feel sleepiness.

Your mom seems to be having a chronic systemic problem that is causing the itching. This I say because, it is ongoing for 2 years, and it seems to be affecting the whole body.

She would need a set of complete investigations like CBC, urine routine, skin allergy tests, liver function test, etc.

Taking only Okacet is not the solution to her problem. I would suggest that your mother be evaluated thoroughly by a Dermatologist to look for the cause of itching, and manage it accordingly.

The common causes for this kind of itching are systemic fungal infections, worm infestation, etc.

Please go ahead accordingly.
