Question: Wife's 3 back surgeries put her in very serious pain. PAIN MGMT offices have written her off and now so has family doctor--new pain doctors have a long waiting list, if they will take new patients--what are we to do????

I do not think they can written her off before finding a new doctor (pain doctor). I feel you need to communicate clearly to your family doctor as well as pain management offices to prescribe appropriate medication for your wife before she finds a new pain management doctor(s).

The other option is visiting emergency but I do not think it is sustainable option.
