Question : i had abad case of chest congestion on friday and saturday with sneezing and on saturday night ihad fever of 101 i have been drinking warm fluids for these few daysand tonight on tuesday night i notice i have a white coated tongue i have taken to relieve my congestion mucinex zycam delsium cough medicine sinuse rinse my chest congestion has only slightly gotten better what now

You are having respiratory tract infection
get a chest xray done and send me film
you are taking right medicines but alongwith this take an antibiotic like azithromycin 500 once daily and an anticold medicine like a combination of levocetrizine and phenylephrine twice daily
medicines are available only on prescription
take regular steam inhalation

If you are going to see a doctor tomorrow, than i would advise you to take steam inhalation and an oral decongestant till than..it will provide you great deal of symptomatic relief..
