Question : In the past year, I have woken in the middle of the night with severe chills and shaking (even though I am under the amount of covers that I normally sleep under. The next day I am worn out and sore. This has happened three or four inconsecutive times and never happens during the day.

Brief Answer:
What are the room temperatures during these episodes?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

I will like to know if this happened during specific seasons and if you had an idea of the temperatures on such days. Though the covers might be the same, they could still prove too much on nights when the temperatures are high. I will suggest that you often check the temperatures and add more covers if need be. Sweating often leads to fluids loss and excessive dizziness/fatigue unless you get to drink much for replacement.

Because this hasn't happened consistently and rarely, I think there is no specific disease condition that explains this. I will rather want to dwell on probable environmental factors. Look into this and let me know what you think.

I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
