Question : Suffering from acute cold and headache. some home remedy please. Also in case some allopathic medicine which can help with some sound sleep, would be a great help

Hi and thanks for your query.
You can take antiallergic medicine. These are also sedative i.e cause sleepiness. You can take medicine like chlorpheniramine e.g in sinarest syrup or tablet. One tablet tonight and one tablet tomorrow night. It also contains paracetamol which will help with fever and headache.
Tomorrow morning you can take only a tablet of ibuprofen for headache (if present).
As concerns home or ayurvedic remedy, I prefer sualin lozenges upto 4-5 a day. Ginger and saunf boiled in tea or milk also help. Take warm drinks.
It should get better in a few days.
