Suggest Treatment For Severe Constipation While On Dulcolax

Question: I want to ask a reason for a condition that has happened to me twice in the last 2 years. I was constipated, so I used medicine called docolex. The medicine made me move my bowel in the middle of the night. as I was moving my bowel, at a particular point, I started sweating and fell like passing out. it happened again with almost the same situation in the bathroom at night. Thanks

What you have described is quite possible, especially if you strain during passing stools.

Due to compression of veins, blood can't return to the body and you might feel reeling of head.

To prevent it, you should keep stools soft and avoid too much straining.
