Take Dextromethorphan!

Hi,

You need a cough suppressant. However, you should not take this drug if your cough is productive (producing phegma) or you have any fever. Take 10mg every 8th hourly as needed . This should address your problem.

On another note, I'd like to know for how long this has been going on and the current list of your medications.

it been goin on for 2 weeks and went to the doctor but my voice still gone

Voice would not return immediately!

Hi,

Please exercise patience as voice would take a little longer before it ever return to normal. It may take as many as 7-10days after the stoppage of the cough. Meanwhile do continue saline water gurgling twice to thrice daily for the time being.
