Suggest Treatment For Severe Cough

Question: I have severe cough from 10 days, blood test including peripheral smear showed no abnormalities. I do spit out yellow phlegm infrequently in small pea sizes. Can I take Taxis 200 or is there another advice. XXXXXXX

I can understand your concern.
Possibility of upper respiratory tract infection is more.
So do following things.
1. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated.
2. Do warm water gargles 5-6 times a day.
4. Take combination of antihistamine and anti inflammatory drugs.
5. Take broad spectrum antibiotic like levofloxacin or Azithromycin or cefixime.
6. Avoid oily and spicy food.
Yes, you can take taxis 200 mg.
It is cefixime mostly.
