I have cough problem. For several days. But it is not curing. I have consulted to doctor. But he only suggest a few medicine which is govt. And free of cost. Please suggest. Help.

I generally prescribe oral syrup of Benadryl 5ml thrice a day for 5-7 days.

This will help to normalise the cough.

In case if cough doesn't resolve after after 7 days, I advise you to go for a chest X-ray.
