Question : ive had a history of depression. recently, my mom passed. it was very hard. I went to my doctor and he prescribed me a medication that wasn't working. things got so bad for me I called the office and left a message. the nurse called me back and the partner of doctor persribed me doxepin 25mg. twice a day. after a few days I felt so much better and worked on projects that I had let go. it has been like a miracle. the negative thing is it makes me tired. would like your opinion.

Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

I'm glad this medication helped you. Fatigue is a common side effect indeed. However, the good news is that as your body habituates to the drug, the side effect of tiredness will go away. Typically this happens within a couple weeks. So don't worry!
