Question: I am suffering from severe diabetic neuropathy pain in my left leg. My fasting blood sugar level today is 129.
what lotion or gel shoul I apply to my leg.

Usually in such cases I may suggest evaluation -
Detailed physical examination.
Investigations-
- Complete Blood count.
- Renal function test.
- Liver Function test.
- HbA1c
- TSH
- Vitamin B12 level.
- Vitamin D3 level.
- Urine examination.

Depending upon clinical examination and above test results medications like oral vitamin B12. D3 supplements, Medicines like pregabalin may be suggested.
For local application to relieve pain and burning sensation Capsaicin preparations can be used.
