Brief Answer:
It is GERD

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thank you for posting your question on Health Care Magic.
Please hydrate yourself adequately for the fluid loss due to diarrhoea.
The twinges you are feeling are esophageal spasms ,which usually happen in GERD.
The gas like symptoms as you mentioned could also be attributed to this.
First and foremost avoid spicy or oily food , even caffeinated drinks should be avoided after 6 pm.
The drug of choice is pantoprazole 40 mg daily before food for about 10 days .
However if the pain presists please further investigate yourself.
Best wishes
