Question : Hi. I've been experiencing intermittent bouts of pretty severe diarrhea and a general feeling of unwellness. After a bowel movement the area around my anus burns.

Take lots of fluids, electral powder, probiotic and sitz bath

Detailed Answer:
Hello! Thanks for putting your query in HCM. I am a Gastroenterologist.

General feeling of unwellness may be due to fluid and electrolyte loss or may be due to infection

For diarrhoea take lots of fluids and electral powder to prevent fluid and electrolyte insufficiency

Take a course of probiotics for a few days

Avoid dairy products till diarrhoea resolves

If it doesn't improve with above, take antisecretory agent like tablet loperamide 2mg once a day till diarrhoea persist

Get your stool routine examination and complete haemogram to see for any infection and if it is there then accordingly a course of antibiotic

Anus burning sensation is due to inflammation or infection
Continue with preparation H, contents in it contains are very useful in resolving burning sensation in anus
Do sitz bath 3 to 4 times a day also
