Question : my 76 year old husband was up early this a.m.; prepared a nice breakfast for my birthday; went back to work at his computer; suddenly felt chilly, faint, shaky, no sweat; has climbed back into bed with his IPAD to continue his work but won't allow me to take his BP or heart rate, saying he'll let me know if symptoms get worse. Should I just be patient or insist on taking vitals?
Brief Answer:
Record vitals.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for choosing HCM!
Recording vitals is always a good strategy,From dizziness to presyncoe to angina,The first thing which changes is pulse,Hear rate and blood pressure. In case of any further event these vitals can guide the doctor,And may help them in making differential diagnosis.
So i would suggest you to keep a record of his vitals.
Thanks.
