Brief Answer:
Unlikely to be kidney stones pain

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The dull pain that you have described does not appear to be a kidney pain. However you need to have at least an ultrasound scan and maybe an X-ray of what we call KUB region. A typical kidney pain usually has a more acute onset, often is severe, colicky, and comes down from one side of back to the front of abdomen and could be associated with vomiting or fever or some urinary symptoms. This might not be true in all cases and There could be massive swelling of kidneys with large stones and patients might not have any pain at all. There could be other causes of pain such as spine issues in your cases which also need to be considered.
Hope I have been of help.
Regards.
