Suggest Treatment For Severe Fatigue After Exertion

Question : My wife is very fatigued after exertion. They initially told her that her thyroid was malfuctioning and then on a secondary reading told her it was fine. They also told her she has cellulitis on her lower leg however the priscribed antibiotics and additional topical cream have proven ineffective. She recently underwent a nuclear stress test which she did not complete the treadmill portion due to fatigue. I would think these are connected somehow, shes had "weak spells" as did her mother. What I'm wondering is if this could all be related to her thyroid or adrenal gland ?

I am Dr Saad Sultan and will be answering your query. I have read and understood your health concerns...
Is she hypertensive or diabetic? Any other medical issues? Which drugs she is taking right now? What is her HB level?
Easy fatigability need to be investigated. If I am her attending physician I will get her FBC and ESR. Low HB is most common cause for it.
Apart from it , her liver function tests and chest x ray , ECG and echo should also be done. In light of these investigations one will be able to proceed.
Low thyroid hormones is another cause for her symptoms which should be treated after getting her thyroid function tests. Its the free hormones which matters not the combined one. Plz send me report of her thyroid function tests so that I can interpret it.
Meanwhile stay calm and avoid physical exertion.
