Suggest Treatment For Severe Fatigue While On Sotalol

Question : I was experiencing fatigue while on solatol. my symptoms seem to indicate adrenal fatigue, however I have bean off solatol by my cardiologists advice for 4 days now and feel less tired, almost normal. He suggested that if I fell better to continue to stay off and he will probably prescribe something else to deal with my fi bulation Question: I do not see him until october 17th. Is there any danger of a problem here in the meantime by being off solotol?

Regarding your concern, I agree with your doctor in the decision of taking off sotalol.

It is true that betablockers can cause chronic fatigue by reducing physical performance.

From the other hand the only concern about being without an anti-arrhythmic drug is the possible occurrence of atrial fibrillation or an increased heart rate.

If this occurs, I would recommend restarting sotalol with low doses until consulting with your doctor.

You can not take any other anti-arrhythmic drug without medical prescription.
