Question : Hi! How long can I expect the lethargy from alcohol detox to contiue? It has been over two weeks now and all symptoms have left save that of lethargy. Should I seek medical advice?

Hello,

In general during detoxification from alcohol with benzodiazepine (valium) multivitamins including thiamine are required.
We also need to find out that this lethargy is due to withdrawal or due to some other reason like alcohol neuropathy.

- How did you undergo detoxification?(medicines, indoor, outdoor, cold turkey, gradual etc.)
