Question : For last five days everyday i have fever which rises upto 104 and it goes after taking paracetomol. Dengue tests came negative. Can not understand the reason.no other sysmtoms like cough cold etc

Hi XXXXXXX welcome to HCM, From your reports, you either have a viral infection or typhoid. Please get your Widal test for typhoid. Platelet count can go down in any infection temporarily.Meanwhile since temperature is high, maybe an antibiotic is called for to prevent secondary infection, after consulting with your doctor.
