Question : I am suffering from hair fall problem. My hair is already very thin and hair fall is a nightmare.

-Duration since you noticed increased hair shedding?
-How severe is the hair fall? More than 50/ day, 50-100/ per day Or more than 100/ per day?
-Is hair fall more from the center of scalp i.e front, mid and vertex?
-Do you also suffer from dandruff?
-Do you have any history of thyroid? Or recent medical illness before the onset of hair fall?
-Are you on any treatment/ medications?

Here are the details.

I have been experiencing hair fall from a long time now.. like from couple of years.
It reduces for a sometime(like a month or so) and it starts again.

Currently its more than 50 strands per day when I wash my hair. Otherwise its less.

I am not able to judge the area of hair fall.

No.. I dont have dandruff.

No.. I dont have thyroid history.

I am not on any treatment as of now.

Hi.

You seem to have female pattern androgenetic alopecia.

It is characterized by hair thinning, increased hair shedding & decreased volume of hair mainly from the center of scalp i.e front, mid and vertex.

Course is gradually progressive over the years.

Minoxidil 2% solution, 1 ml, twice daily, at scalp skin & Oral Biotin supplement, once daily would help in preventing further hair loss.
