Brief Answer:
Rule out causes of hair loss

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
There are many causes of hair loss and treatment depends on the cause.
The most common causes encountered are iron deficiency anemia, thyroid disorders, fevers like typhoid and dengue, surgery, accidents, child birth, certain medicines, trauma, stress and chronic diseases.
I would recommend you to get your Haemoglobin, thyroid function tests and serum ferritin levels checked to rule out thyroid disorders and anaemia.
Meanwhile you can continue with the prescribed medicines as they also take 12-14 weeks to start showing significant results.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
