Brief Answer:
see doctor for tests
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Normal hair loss is 50-100 hairs per day. Some thinning of the hair is normal as we age but if it seems severe to you then try seeing your doctor for some testing. Especially thyroid dysfunction is common in women and can cause hair loss. In addition, sometimes it is a deficiency of a mineral or vitamin so adding a multivitamin/multimineral supplement daily may also help the problem. Adding some fish oil daily can also be helpful and they make formulations of this that do not taste fishy.
I hope you get rid of the problem soon.
