Question : I have a hairfall problem since 2yrs back.I have tried wid one of the dermatologists one year back.
he prescribed me with trichoton 40,dispenser serum and mildy shampoo.i tried for 2 months.
now my hairs in forehead portion have become very less and thin.Should I start again these medicines.Kindly advice.

Hi,

Welcome to HCM....

I can understand your concern for hairfall and thinning of hairshaft which recurred. This seems to be a condition called telogen effluvium. Better you consult the dermatologist again and have proper treatment. Otherwise,you may restart the treatment as used before.

But, I would like to suggest..

- biotin 10 mg tab daily
- vitamin E 400 mg cap daily
- treatment of disease...stress,anaemia,thyroid dysfunction or other
- minoxidil 5% solution to apply twice a day
- herbal shampoo twice a week

Have patience and continue treatment for more than 6 months upto 2 years. I hope you might get good result.

I have just rellocated to XXXXXXX so its not possible to visit XXXXXXX again now.
Just a small query,
As suggested I will start with trichoton 40 (2 times?)
minidoxil solution
Any specific vitamin E tablet?how many times and when to take?
