Brief Answer:
Symptomatic treatment required only

Detailed Answer:
Hello, greetings!
Thanks for posting your query on hcm.
It seems like your husband is suffering from a bacterial infection superimposed on sinusitis. He has already completed a course of antibiotics for the infection and is already on a steroid nasal spray to counteract the sinusitis.

I would recommend to treat symptomatically. He may use the mometasone nasal spray for a week. In case of pain/ fever he may take a combination of paracetamol and ibuprofen. He should be completely fine in a week.

Do not worry, there will be no serious side effects.
If the problem persists, he may need to be investigated further via a CT scan of the paranasal sinuses.

If you have any further doubts/ clarifications, you may get back to me.
Regards,
Dr. Sonia
