Suggest Treatment For Severe Headache While On Rozat-F And Ascorin
Question: HI AM FEELING LIKE I WILL FALL AND HAD SLIGHT HEADACHE. I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH HAVING IGT AND BORDERLINE LDL CHOLESTEROL.DOCTOR HAS PRESCRIBED ME FOR GTT TEST 2ND HOUR PLASMA GLUCOSE IS 131 UPTO 120 RANGE, IN LIPID PROFILE LDL IS IN BORDERLINE AND THRYOID IS NORMAL
PRESENTLY AM TAKING ASCORIN 5 MG AND ROZAT 5 MG ONCE A DAY.PLS ADVISE

Hello,
Welcome to the HCM.
Dear first I need to know that why did you need to go through these tests? for how long you have been taking these medicines? and what was the factor which trigger headache or feeling as falling down?
Since borderline LDL level can be normalized by taking good dietary measures like avoiding heavy and fried (mutton,egg yolk) meals,sweets and starting exercise like brisk walk daily for 45 minutes at least and eating lots of vegetables and and fruits.
As far as impaired glucose intolerance test came positive ,then I would like to tell that some times false positive result may come ,depends on timing of taking blood sample after eating,or type of food which was taken before taking the sample.For that repeating test is adviced else I would also like to suggest get HBA1C done .Which shows glucose control by the body in last 3 months .

Hi Dr Maheshwari Madam,
It was on 30th December 2015 morning around 5 am I felt like am in train that was a kind of jerk I was not in position to balance my self I had a kind of vaccum sound in right ear so I consulted an ENT doctor who said it might be due to cold air and has prescribed following medicine
1. tab acelonfac and parcetamol
2. tab defcort 6mg
3 tab azrithomycin
4. tab revital
In the evening i dint had any jerk feeling but in my left hand there was a tingling i had two days of sleepless night.since it was kind of pain in nerve i consulted a nephro in Apollo hospital in XXXXXXX he suggested i may have metabolism problem he prescribed following tablets.
1.tab Pbren 50 mg
2 tab neuro forte
3 tab Stalopam
After having above tablet tingling effect has gone had a sound sleep then on 7/1/2016 again in the afternoon i felt jerk for around 10 seconds i immediately consulted a one more neuro who ruled out the possibility of vertigo he prescribed for following test
1.Thyroxine free t4 ( result .94)
2.GTT
a. Fasting Plasma Glucose (result 90)
b. 1st Hour Plasma Glucose (result 139) range upto 140 mg/dl
c. 2nd Hour Plasma Glucose ( result 131) range upto 120 mg/dl
Doctor has prescribed for tab Ecosprin 75 mg
tab Rozat 5 mg
Iam having above tab from last two days again in today afternoon i had same feeling so i posted an enquiry.
Please assist me

Dear your fasting blood sugar level is normal and GTT levels are also not that much raised that need to take medicines to control.Even borderline LDL can be normalized without taking medicines by taking good dietary measures and daily brisk walk.
As ecosprin is aspirin and zodac is for cholestrol control,but at this age and with these reports ,the levels can be normalized without taking medicines.

2.High or low blood pressure
3.Stress and anxiety
4.Migraine
Since other medicines you have mentioned are used to treat these symptoms.But
to rule out any above cause ,getting check blood pressure (morning ,evening and night) sitting and standing both and vitamin B12 level would help.Also avoid taking stress .Since sometime only stress and anxiety can be the major cause of these symptoms.
