Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query in HealthcareMagic,

I have gone through your query,

If you seem to be having fever and headache alone, without any other symptoms like cough, sore throat, nausea, vomiting,, I would suggest you to do the following meanwhile:

- Take T. DOLO 650 thrice daily for 2 days and you can stop the medicine once your fever stops. This should also provide relief for your headache.

Also kindly share if you have any other symptoms like headache only on one side, blurring of vision, increased headache after loud noise, headache which decreases after sleep?

From the description, it seems to be only a viral flu..

I will detail you on any further management once you revert back with details on any further symptoms.

Regards

Hello again,
Thanks for writing back,

I have gone through your query,

The cause for headache seems to be either stress related or could be the initial stages of migraine. For now, I would suggest you to continue with T. DOLO for this while. If you seem to get repetitive attacks in the future, it would be worthwhile getting it checked by an ENT doctor in your area.

As for the GERD you seem to encounter, if I was your treating physician, I would do the following:
Once prone for GERD, it does take a while to recover from this completely, as our stomach linings will be very sensitive and any ignorance from our side could delay its healing process.

- Always remember to not leave your stomach empty for more than two hrs, in other words, eat small meals in intervals of 2 hours.

- It would be a good idea to avoid beverages like tea, coffee and milk. Curd is considered best.

- avoid foods that are fatty, spicy and oily. It would be best if you could avoid spice to the maximum.

- avoid foods like biscuits made of maida, snacks made of maida.

- Consume foods rich in fiber, green vegetables, fruits, dry fruits.

For a detailed diet plan, you may raise a request using "Ask a dietician" option, our dieticians will provide you with a beautiful diet chartnto ease your task.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to discuss further, or else kindly close the query and give your positive feedback.

Kind regards.

Hi again,
Thanks for writing back,

Sorry for the delay in replying back,

I would advice you to avoid much of citrus fruits, particularly pineapple, orange, grapefruits. In vegetables, it would be better to avoid tomatoes, onions and too much garlic.

Tender coconut water is considered very good for the stomach, helps in soothening the stomach lining. Coconut milk is not considered as a better alternative.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to discuss further or else kindly close your query and give your positive feedback.

Kind regards.

Hi xxxxxxxxxxxxx
Thanks for writing back,

From your symptoms you seem to have a viral flu, it should subside in a few days time. You may continue to have T. Dolo 650mg twice daily for another 2 days.

If you still continue to have fever and body pain, feeling tiredness and malaise, I would suggest it best to get a WIDAL test for typhoid and NS1 antigen for dengue, just so as to be on safer side.

Yes, you may have tender coconut water while having medicines, but also involve good fruits and vegetables along with and keep yourself hydrated.

I hope this helps,

Please revert back for any further queries,

Regards
