Brief Answer:
Symptoms are directly related to Toxoplasmosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I understand your concern.

Yes, absolutely the symptoms are directly related to Toxoplasmosis.

Inadequate treatment is the most likely cause in your case. Relapse of the disease can also be a cause

Symptoms may result from retrobulbar(beyond the eyeball)spread of the infection. This can run the r risk on infecting brain structures.

I advise you to get a B - mode ocular ultrasound scan for better assessment of your eye condition.

Along with chemotherapy, photocoagulation can be an excellent therapeutic option.Discuss with your physician with regards to above.

Post your further queries if any.

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Start drugs after consulting your doctor.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Madam.

I understand your concern.

Do not get tensed madam.

Restating the antibiotics and steroids would be ideal.

Clindamycin is alone not effective.

I generally recommend a 6-week regimen with 3 antibiotics to my NON-PREGNANT patients. This includes Pyrimethamine plus clindamycin plus leucovorin plus cotrimoxazole.Steroids should be additionally indicated. Please check with your doctor if he shares my view and if can prescribe them to you.

It's always better to consult your doctor on Tuesday and start the treatment.

Tynole will not be much help.

It's important that you undergo a B-mode ultrasound scan of the eye meanwhile as earlier mentioned in my earlier response.

Post your further queries, if any.

Thank you.
