Question : Hi there, I had a really severe headache all day yesterday and overnight. I also had fever about 100 all day. I had weakness and chills. Overnight I couldn't sleep from headache and severe restless legs. My headache is better today but still weak and tired, woozy, irritable.
I have ongoing depression which is in treatment with wellbutrin and therapy. I have recently gone off prozac.

I had a migraine (at least I think it was) a few months ago with sever pain, nausea and light sensitivity, which went away with advil and rest in dark room. This was different than that in that it did not respond to meds.

Is this something to worry about? Is it a migraine?

Thanks for any input you may have.

Brief Answer:
Possibly Migraine headache.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam.

I understand your query and concern.

The headache in your case is possibly migraine owing to non response to advil ,initially showing light sensitivity and nausea.

This is not a serious issue to be worried a much since many therapeutic interventions are now existing which can effectively treat migraine.

Drugs like Propranolol and sumatriptan form an excellent regimen to combat Migraine.

Coming to restless legs and dizzy spells, they are directly related to the use and cessation of prozac. These symptoms will resolve spontaneously.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Thank you for your response. That makes sense. Is it normal to have a fever as well with a migraine?
