Question: Hi XXXXXXX
I am XXXX,
1. I was using Encorate Chrono 200mg twice a day before pregnancy for almost 5 years and never had convulsions even during C-section delivery.
2. As suggested by you previously, I used levetiracetam 250mg through out my pregnancy duration.
3. On 31st March 2015 I gave birth to a healthy baby girl and on 4th April 2015 night I had convulsions (fits) and it's after almost 5 years.
4. Physician prescribed 3 tables - Encorate Chrono 300mg 2 times a day; Neksium 40mg 2 times a day for 5 days; Levipil 500mg 2 times a day for 15 days. But, I am suffering with severe headache for almost 3 hours both morning and night after taking these medicines.
5. Can you please let me know if this headache is normal or can you suggest some other medication? I have also attached the discharge summary and medication I am currently having.

Brief Answer:
Current medications are fine.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Ms XXXXXXX

Thank you for getting back.

It is unfortunate to note that you had seizures after a gap of five years. However, there is no need to worry.

Your seizures will get controlled with Encorate Chrono (sodium valproate) and Levipil (levetiracetam).

Headaches are not normal. As of now, you can take analgesics such as aceclofenac or etoricoxib tablets to relieve the headache. If the headache persists, then, get a brain scan done.

I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.

Wishing you good health,

1. what is the dosage of Aceclofenac you recommend to consume? and
2. How frequently should I consume it (once a day OR 2 times a day OR based up on pain intensity)?
3. How long should I continue this medication?
