Question : I get 2 or 3 hot flashes during the day which cause me to get a cold and clammy feeling along with a lot of sweating.

First I would suggest to monitor the body temperature several times during the day, secondly a detailed clinical examination and further blood test are necessary;
-Full blood count
-ESR and protein C reactive
-Electrolytes
--AST, ALT, GGT
-Urea and Creatinine
-TSH
-HbA1c
-Testosterone
