Brief Answer:
Needs pain medication.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having throat pain.

As such, you are on right medications. But, pain medications are deficient and dosage of antibiotics needs to be altered.

I suggest you to take anti inflammatory + analgesic combination like Tab. hifenac-p (paracetamol + hifenac) twice daily for 3-5days.

Proven 500mg thrice daily for 5-7 days and zethromicine 500mg once daily for 3 days is the adult dosage schedule.

Kindly follow the appropriate dosage for prompt relief.

Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.

Wishing you good health.

Brief Answer:
sinusitis with Eustachian tube dysfunction- needs evaluation.

Detailed Answer:

Hello again,

Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.

Based on your clinical details, it appears to be sinusitis.

Sinusitis can cause secretions to trickle back to throat leading to Eustachian tube dysfunction (ear blockage), laryngitis (voice box), GERD (gastro oesophageal reflux disease) or lung infection (cough with phlegm).

I suggest you to under go audiometry (Eustachian tube dysfunction) and CT scan of para nasal sinuses ( to know the anatomical abnormalities and to measure the extent of sinusitis.

Hope, I answered your query.

Take care.
