Brief Answer:
Depends upon the depth of skin damage

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.

I have gone carefully through your query and have checked the attached images. There is a particular layer of the skin where the melanocytes, or the pigment producing cells, reside. An injury deeper than this layer would therefore leave the area devoid of melanocytes and therefore devoid of pigments. That is the reason the area is a white patch. However, there should be a few melanocytes left at the base of the hair cells in those areas and it is a matter of time before those melanocytes re-populate the area (you would be able to see slight pigmentations starting to appear). It may take quite some time for that to happen. The shade of the skin might still be different. Application of any medication would not help. So, just leave it as it is and do not worry about it.

Let me know if I could help further.

Regards
