Question : Very itchy inner wrist one night, very itchy back of the hands, knuckles and ankle area the second night. Both issues brought on weps from scratching. I checked and I do not have bedbugs. first night I used Calamine Lotion really did not work. Second night I used vaporub, which stopped the itching. What could this be?

Probably you have developed scabies.
Your symptoms are suggestive of that.
I treat such cases with a single application of topical 5 % permethrin cream, to be applied all over body in night and washed off in morning.
This works well.
