                                            Question : Hello I have very bad joint pain , both knees and hands. I am looking to purchase a product called natural joint defence made buy a Swiss company called Cell'inna .
It contains glucosamine sulfate, chondroitin sodium sulfate, MSM, and devils claw.
I am type 2 diabetic
Is it safe to take with that condition ?

Noted your question. Devil's claw may lower your blood glucose levels .please be careful when you take it along with diabetes meditations. May I know which anti diabetes medications do you use?

                                    Hello Doctor, I take Bendrofluethiazide 2.5mg 1per day Gliclazide 80 mg 1per day before breakfast , Metformin 850mg 1 at breakfast 1in the evening, Sitagliptin 100mg 1 per day.
Also ramipril and simvastatin

Thank you for the reply. Devil's claw may interact with Gliclazide and can lower your blood glucose. You may use it, but please make sure to check your blood glucose more often while on Devil's claw. Atleast, for the first few days of use, check your blood glucose at home atleast three to four times a day.
