Brief Answer:
Early knee arthritis

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.

Thanks for the query.

It is possible that repeated strain on your knees due to the sport has caused early degenerative changes in the knee called arthritis. This can progress if there is further continued repeated loading to the joints.

Avoid any maneuver or position that causes pain. Avoid excessive and repetitive knee flexion. Apply warm packs to the affected region. Do quadriceps strengthening exercises. Do get an Xray of the knee to confirm.

I hope I have answered your query.

I will be available to answer your follow up queries.
