Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

I am sorry for the painful situation you are going through. I am also glad to know that no nerve damage is present.

At this point, I need to know more on the pain you're having:
- is it only on the muscles of the leg? or you can feel pain even in joints?
- does it occur anytime during the day? or basically at night?
- what have you used so far?
- apart neurological examination, any blood test: cbc? electrolytes levels? vitamins/minerals balance?
- personal history of deep vein thrombosis?

From what you are reporting, and taking into account your age, I think the cramps are due to lack in vitamins and minerals especially when it comes to vit.D, calcium and magnesium.

Taking magnesium supplements can ease the cramps. Please do regular walking to help blood circulation in your legs.

Looking forward to have the requested info in to assist you further.
