Question : Pain in my left leg from the bottom of my can to my knee that inhibits movement until I can get it moving a little.
Pain is very bad and immobilizing after sitting or rest. What can be the cause of this. I am an active person over 65

You need to be physically examined by a physician to for the cause of the same.However, for now,a short course of Non steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines(NSAIDS)can be taken like - Naproxen 500 mg twice a day after meals along with Pantoprazole 40 mg once a day empty stomach.This will provide a temporary relief from pain at least.PLEASE TAKE MEDICINES UNDER GUIDANCE ONLY.
