Suggest Treatment For Severe Loose Stools While On Dialysis

Question: HI doctor, I am an End stage kidney patient on Dialysis since 2 months. I am now suffering from loose and " sticky " type motions since morning today. I also have Hypertension for which I am taking medicines. I have tried Redotil capsule for dioarrea and also Sporlac but without any result. Kindly help to prescribe suitable medicine which can stop the motions. Also suitable diet may be suggested please.

You can take medicine like ciproflox and metrogyl

hi,

I would suggest to take ciproflox 500 twice a day for 3 days and metrogyl twice a day for 3 days. if no relief in one day meet your dialysis doctor. We need to see your blood pressure if it is high or normal. if you have fever also better is to get a detailed check up by your doctor.
