Question : Hello I went to my doctor yesterday for lower back pain. An x-ray was taken and I have a vertebral slip in the L5-S1 area. I was prescribed Indomethacin to take for 10 days. I am being referred to an Orthopedic Surgeon and am going to start a course of Physical Therapy next week.

Do you have any advice or other things I should do?

With respect to the injury/pain how long should I wait until seeing some improvements in my condition? What is the best way to keep the inflamation down?
