                                            Question : I have lower back pain. Received shots to manage pain. Lasts only several months. What product should I buy? Capsule or other type? MG amount to start? 78 years old, 165 lbs.

It would be wise to also try Physiotherapy to manage the pain.
You can try the use of pain patches of Buprenorphine called Buvalor. Also Tramadol and Acetaminophen combination tablets would work.
Apply hot packs to the affected region. Avoid forward bending and lifting weights.

                                    I have heard  turmeric tablets work very well. That's why I mentioned type
of treatment and MG. Earlier this year I tried physical therapy 2 times a week for three months. Some relief but did not last. Are the acetaminophen and tramadol
tablets over the counter products? I have also tried patches with little relief.

Turmeric does have pain killing and Antiinflammatory properties. You can take a pinch of the powder in warm milk.
Acetaminophen and Tramadol would require a prescription from your Doctor. Alternatively you can take Tablet Oxaceprol 600mg once a day. This does not require a prescription.
