Question: Dear Doctor,

My niece has recently noticed a dent on the top of her skull. She suffers from heavy migraines. The neurologist she has visited has never even heard of the possibility that such a dent can be developed. She has not suffered any kind head trauma. We are very worried. Please advise.
Thank you

Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome to HCM.

This may be caused by unnoticed trauma and I don't think there is reason to be concerned.

This can't be related to migraine and it may be just some subcutaneous lesion such as hematoma or lipoma. If there are some doubts, you can get CT scan of brain done, but I don't think this is necessary.

Feel free to ask further

Wish you good health.
Regards
