Brief Answer:
dehydration or dyselectrolytemia needs to be ruled out...

Detailed Answer:
Hello.

This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.

If a patient comes to me with severe generalised cramp and pain, I suspect dehydration first. I hope you are not dehydrated. In the absence of dehydration, dyselectolytemia such as decreased levels of calcium or potasssium needs to be ruled out on priority. Therefore in my opinion, you need to be investigated further. I would advise a blood test for sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium. Your local doctor can order the tests.

In the meanwhile drink plenty of fluids. Continue the supplements.

Chronic diseases like polymyositis which can mimic these symptoms are rare conditions. It should be taken into consideration only after the common cause are ruled out.

Hope this was useful.
Regards.
